Many of the prints have been inspired by music or poetry, and often they tell a story. I am drawn to the serendipitous aspect of printmaking where the artist is forced to surrender to the process with often unforeseen results.

I am slightly synaesthetic and for me each note of the scale is a different colour. For each note I have included the fourth and fifth notes of the scale (the tonic and dominant) to achieve a ‘chord’ in colour.
